Friend(A) posted something today. Massive rant about no one being creative or original anymore ,the state of society ,tik tok, no one is a creator anymore etc and strangely enough used a post from another friend (B) to make her point with the disclaimer that it is not about B but the principle of it. I didn't actually realise that at the beginning as names were deleted.
I made a comment about how very few things are original anymore as most things are based on or influenced by things from years (even centuries ago) be it music,art etc. That we do find things we like or relate to and put out own spin and influence on it.
A got really annoyed, told me I'm looking way to deep into this followed by another reply bringing B into it, and we must've talked about it and the real reason I'm commenting is because B felt attacked and I'm "taking" her side. I have no idea how B feels about it or what she thinks because we haven't talked about it. I'm sure she can hold her own anyways.
So WIBU to try and have an interesting discussion/debate?
