Mine would be a nice lie in, followed by a walk with dp.

Maybe see some friends or family. Then I’d want a bloody big pizza and a glass of wine

Maybe even a bath

Bliss

What’s yours?

Friday night with our local friends and lots of wine and good food.
Early morning Saturday swim/gym sessions then out for a big long walk with DH and DS and a cinema night together.
Sunday, big lie ins then off out for a proper Sunday roast. Dont care where, just somewhere where I don't need to cook!
Home, PJ's, family cuddles

MintMe · 13/02/2022 18:07

A lie in with coffee, pastries and home improvement mags.

Nice, country walk with the dog (and kid, obvs) and a pint in the pub on the way home.

Back to something lovely and slow cooked (chilli?) then a bath, a fire, a few large glasses of Malbec and a few episodes of something entertaining but easy.

Sleep in, rub one out a few times and eat junk food

FennecShandDoesEverything · 13/02/2022 18:12

Carribbean luxury kid-free weekend with DH would suit me nicely. Sleep, shag, swim, work out, probably have a massage, chill in the steam room together, read, nice dinner...

I forgot Sunday roast! Extra Yorkshire’s please, big dollop of gravy

I don't really lie in but love a nap after lunch.

Also love a pub roast with wine

Aquamarine1029 · 13/02/2022 18:25

Being at home with my husband, enjoying each other's company, cooking delicious food together, going for a hike, playing cards and having some wine. This is actually what we do most every weekend. I love it.

Saturday - nice walk, sandwich and drink at a country pub, home for a bath/nap then out with friends for a curry/drinks
Sunday - more walking followed by a huge Sunday roast, another nap, night in front of the tv watching some good drama.

SheWolfOFFrancee · 13/02/2022 18:36

Saturday:

Lie in followed by a lovely walk with the kids and DH at a local nature place

Lunch at our fave cafe followed by an afternoon chilling with a good book while DH and the kids entertain themselves

Takeaway in front of the tv with DH

Sunday
Morning at home with DH and the kids. Then I love cooking so being in the kitchen listening to an audiobook preparing Sunday roast

Easy Sunday roast

Fall asleep watching tv too full to move

Absolute solitude. Music, nice food, naps, good TV or films.

MadameHeisenberg · 13/02/2022 18:48

It’s been an ideal Sunday today. Lie in until about 8:30am, crêpes for breakfast and then hit the local pistes with the DC. It was a beautiful day today and it’s the start of the school holidays in France and Geneva, so it was packed by mid-afternoon, but we finished skiing by 4pm and came home, drank hot chocolate from the Velvetiser in front of the fire and watched Star Wars. Kids are in bed now and I’m having a small Bailey’s.

Cocomelonearworm · 13/02/2022 18:59

Mine would be:
Friday night at the pub.
Saturday morning long hot bath then into town for some shopping. Lunch with a friend somewhere fabulous. More shopping, a manicure, then cinema in the evening. Posh cinema where they bring the snacks to your sofa.
Sunday morning lie in, brunch then a long walk in the countryside or by the sea, finishing at a pub. Dinner at home in front of a good box set.

In reality I have small DC so my weekends usually involve ferrying to activities like swimming or enduring the seventh circle of hell that is soft play. Sometimes to mix it up we go round to my in laws. FML.
