To ask how you recovered from Covid...

I have been taking 100ug of Vit D a day, Vit C, zinc and a good quality acidophilus.
I didn’t have Covid too badly but it lasted for 2 whole weeks. A week after my first negative test and I have such bad fatigue, brain fog, headaches, joint pain and even eye aches.
I really want to get physically fitter and am considering cycling to work and back and maybe even intermittent fasting to lose a bit of weight and strengthen my muscles but I’m worried this may put me back in my recovery.
Does anyone have any tips for how to recover from this horrible virus?

Thank you.

I had similar lasting symptoms to you (dizzily/foggy feeling in head, sore eyes, headaches, sinusitis) and it just took about 6 weeks (after first covid symptoms appeared) for them to gradually go away. It’s hard but try to take things relatively easy until these irritating symptoms have gone. Eg in my case I did most of my normal day to day activities but took a break from working out, or anything too strenuous, and just tried to eat my five a day and get enough rest. I also found it helpful to keep a log of my daily symptoms and any changes and that way I could see I was gradually getting better over the weeks. Hope you feel better soon!

Oh and beconase nasal spray seemed to help with the inflamed congested feeling, and for my eyes I used eye drops plus regular use of a heated ‘eyebag’ and did eye massage - after going for an eye check and being told I had clogged tear ducts as a post covid complication.
