It's the Totes Inappropes page - FFB.

They seem to be pretty ruthless and nasty on a regular basis but it's all encouraged and cheered on.

Why are you on it?

Just leave the page. If someone is saying anything racist, homophobic etc then report but ultimately leave the group.

I agree. I left last night as it just got ridiculous.

I follow Totes. I've not seen anything nasty, it's mainly about fashion/ running/ kids normally. Perhaps I've missed something!

It's not racist or homophobic, it's just the way they all turn on people who disagree with them. Very much reminiscent of mean girls in the playground. I'm definitely not promoting it. I stay because I like to see the outfits.

... or do you means the Totes Meri Peri group, rather than her own page? I think that can get a bit nasty sometimes! The admin take their job a little too seriously I feel...

I’ve never heard of the page/group you’re on about, and a quick search reveals loads of pages, groups and communities with that name ranging from a fashion blogger to people laughing at daft abbreviations, but if you don’t like it and people are sharing stuff from it, you can simply choose to hide any posts from it in your news feed.

If you think it’s hate speech or harassing individuals or whatever, then report it to Facebook on those grounds. But if it’s just dirty jokes or dark humour of a kind you don’t like, then just take steps to block it and accept that it’s not for you. If you have friends who keep sharing stuff from it, then take a look at who your friends are and have a think about why you’re friends with them. They’re the ones putting this stuff into your feed, not the people who run the page. You wouldn’t even be aware of it if your friends weren’t bringing it to your attention.

There are a million things on Facebook that are in bad taste or annoying or nasty without actually breaking any rules. Whatever this page is, there will be hundreds of others that you’re unaware of that are doing similar things.

Indeed not. I'm a woman with opinions myself. I just don't think it's a nice or fair way to treat people.

I came off it for similar reasons. I didn’t really ‘get’ their humour.

That's probably the whole reason for the groups name. It's not compulsory to read anything on social media, so the advice is: don't!!

If its pages I have just looked at it looks a pretty wanky aren't I funny, when alas they are not.

There does seem to be a few pages with same name so who knows what OP is on about.

I've posted about that group before, they can be absolutely vile. The admin are on such a power trip and heaven forfend anyone who questions them. The way they deal with things publicly is so wrong and the inevitable pile ons are awful.

The admin truly cannot see anything wrong in what they do. Awful bunch of witches. They'll probably be along soon on this thread - they did last time! 🤣

I don't mind her humour but God forbid u disagree with her! The drama last night was ridiculous.

Oh I'm not in that group. Her own page is ok, she makes me laugh. I think it's the admins who are the problem, it's the same with the Totes Meri Page.

I don't know the page but the name doesn't really imply fluffy unicorns and rainbows. If you don't like it then leave, that's all you can do, you can't make people be nice.
