Ok, do background is:
I've been in my role for years, as the years have gone on I've ended up with a supersized role where they've not replaced staff.
I work for 4 individuals but really should probably only have 2 given their seniority.
My own line manager is the type to just keep ignoring stress in the team.
Just before Christmas it all started to get too much, I ended up with burn out. Off work for a few weeks and recently went back to an agreed reduced (reasonable) workload.
This meant removing 2 direct reports. My line manager did the comms piece and I sent all a message apologising for the changes as I know it's inconvenient but necessary for my health.
One of them was totally happy with this, could see I was overloaded.
The other one, who I did most work for and in the past have worked my arse of for has completely snubbed me since. Didn't even respond to my message.
I have to get better at not taking things to heart.
AIBU for thinking he could have at least responded?
