Hi guys posting for traffic

So me and DH have been TTC for nearly 2 years. I'm just posting this for someone else to tell me I'm being silly and to accept that I'm not pregnant lol but anyways here goes.

So I'm 10days late for my periods. I took a pregnancy test 2days ago and it was a very clear negative. Now I still haven't started my periods but I keep getting stomach pain and feel very very exhausted. I don't even know if this is a symptom but, TMI by the way but when I go for a wee it's very bright yellow like stains on the tissue yellow. Iv never had this before. Is there any slight possible chance I could be pregnant? Or am I 100% not pregnant because it was negative 2 days ago.

Again I know I might sound so silly and delusional but I just need someone else to tell me that haha.

To be honest I have had the yellow stains before and it was because my diet was poor at the time and I was under hydrated.

Are you getting any investigation for TTC? I feel you, also 2 years here!

@TheDaydreamBelievers Maybe the urine thing is that. I need to start drinking more water.

Iv had bloods checked and hormone levels all fine and also has an internal scan which also came back completely fine. They don't seem to see any issues. Have you spoken to Gp about it ? Xx

@yummymummy1230 if you are on two years with no conception they should be referring you to fertility services? However, won't do this if you already have a child. I don't so have been referred to assisted conception (fertility) services

I would go and get/take a clear blue first response or whatever it’s called.

It’s unambiguous and accurate.

Also several vitamins can make per stain tissue yellow!

@TheDaydreamBelievers It's because I already have a child they won't refer me any further than the checks they have already done. Fingers crossed for you. Hope u get ur BFP soon!

@Totalwasteofpaper I tried the first response pregnancy test they're like £7 a lot of people apparently said they're quite good. I guess il have to try again. I just keep convincing myself that I'm actually pregnant lol even though Iv had a negative I keep making myself believe I am😂😂

Have you upped your vitamins recently? If you take too many B vits then they're excreted through your kidneys and it turns your urine bright yellow.

Do you take vitamins? A lot of Vit B can cause bright yellow wee

If you're getting lower abdominal pain, are exhausted and have unusually dark/yellow wee, then is there a chance you might have a bladder infection? It certainly sounds like you need to drink a lot more water, at least - dehydration does make you feel exhausted and will make your wee darker.

As others have said, various vitamin supplements can also affect the colour of your wee. And stress/anxiety/nerves can give you stomach cramps, so that might be a factor too.

I think First Response type pregnancy tests are usually very accurate, but you could do another one just to confirm. If that does confirm you're not pregnant, and you're still having stomach pains and feeling unwell, maybe give your GP a call.
