House cleaning

Am I the only one when cleaning the house: clean just the rooms that we use the most?? Like leave the spare rooms and the upstairs? Just hoover/wash floors in the kitchen, living room, bathroom & hall (basically the rooms which visitors would only see)

I have a fairly biggish house & to do the cleaning all in one go would take me allllllllllll day. Spare rooms get a tidy/clean when I can really be bothered🤣 my own bedroom once a week. My DD (7months) takes up alot of my time. so the most seen/used rooms gets done once a week - the rest gets done when i can pull the energy from somewhere 😆

YABU - the whole house should be done together

I definitely do the rooms we use the most more. And mostly just the rooms visitors will see!

Count yourself lucky that you have the innate common sense to do that. I used to run into difficulties because of my tendency to devote my energy to reorganising the spare room wardrobe or organising my bedroom bookshelf instead of tackling visible areas.
