Told my neighbour to no longer talk to me AIBU?

This morning we got back from the school run at the same time, I was chatting away to her as usual and she goes "I don't think you should talk to me anymore, you're out of line" because apparently one of the neighbours called the police on her brother for arguing or something and she thinks it's "completely out of order".

I have been nothing but nice to her and her family since she moved in, she absolutely refused to listen when I said it wasn't me and insisted it must be because the police said a neighbour phoned and that neighbour was me, I pointed out that police will never tell someone who the caller was but she insisted that it's got to be me.

Instead of realising it's probably the other newer family who actively dislike her and pretty much everyone else here she jumped straight to accusing me and her reasoning behind it is that I phoned the police on a man that assaulted me on my doorstep late last year so I have a "history" of doing it.

I am disgusted that she has used this as her reason for why she says it must be me.

She hasn't tried to apologize instead she knocked on my door and tried to act like nothing had happened. I have told her to no longer talk to me because all I have ever done since she moved in is be nice to her and help her out and this is what I get for it.

I should add that this all apparently happened on Saturday when I was in town with my child for the majority of the day.

You've done your bit. Just give her a swerve from now on. It's not worth it.

So, she didn't want to talk to you, and told you that, after accusing you of something you didn't do.
Then, she comes around and starts chatting away as if nothing happened?
She's nuttier than squirrel poop.
YANBU to keep away from her and make the same request of her she did of you!

The police won't have told her who it was, I imagine she's trying to get you to admit it was you but making out she knows anyway, however it hadn't worked because, well, it wasn't you!
I wouldn't talk to her either.
