Hi, I have decided to get monthly eyebrow, chin and lip wax and a gel manicure. I've grown my nails from little stubbs and look forward to a bit of pampering.
The first time I went I was asked to let the trainee wax my chin which I felt pressured into doing. Unfortunately she didn't pull the wax off in the right way and I ended up with the hairs snapping under the skin which then became in grown. Today I refused to let the trainee wax me but I was ushered to a different woman than who I'd booked with to have my gel manicure done. This time she didn't cut my cuticles and the gel on one of the nails had lumps in it! Turns out she was a trainee.
I was offered a discount but AIBU not to want a trainee especially if I've booked with a named beautician who does a fabulous job.
