AIBU to think The Sun should stop using Mumsnet posts as articles?

Honestly I just find it a bit much when people have come on here for advice that it so often gets turned into cheap news for The Sun (I don't actually read the sun but for some reason it often comes up as recommended posts on Facebook)
Or is it fair since they posted it online for the world to see anyway?

It isn't only The Sun that lift them. It's a public forum isn't it, you don't even have to log in to read the content 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's a public forum so they can do what they like .

The Daily Mail do it all the time as well. I don't think they should do it when it is a personal matter (eg to do with relationship problems) or when the person could be identified (posting a very unusual/specific scenario) as that could make the poster feel much worse and could have some awful repercussions in their life. It would be best if they just did it with funny threads, or ones where people were giving political opinions etc. Journalists are always scraping the barrel these days though and just lifting content from other sites. A proper investigative journalist is becoming a very rare thing.
