To find the summer months hard

I always find the summer months harder not sure if it’s due to my birthday approaching in august and finding ageing hard or what it is. I much prefer the winter months and look forward to September.

Same, summer has also been my worst month, I always dread it coming back around.

Well, you do you but personally I can't wait to be warm again.

And I'm 60 so probably older than OP?

YABU. I can't wait for summer. Hate dark evenings.

YANBU. I feel so much better in the cooler time of the year! Autumn is my happiest time of year, but my birthday is in winter, and I much prefer winter over summer, so it's nothing to do with dreading getting older, for me.

Of course, the people who prefer warm weather aren't unreasonable, either, but as it's more "accepted"/expected to prefer summer, they're not as likely to be told they're miserable, wrong, etc. for their opinion.

I'm with you. Never understood people who apparently actually LIKE being hot, sweaty and uncomfortable. Weirdos.
