To be at my wits end with this pain

To keep it simple I have endometriosis I’ve tried everything that the doctors suggested had surgery twice, seen numerous specialists, Paid to go private, pelvic floor therapy, changed my diet, tried specific exercises, taken any pill given to me, had the injection and coil but my periods continued along with all the pain. Currently on codine, morphine for when it’s really bad and a few other different tablets too. I went away for a weekend away recently and took some northeristone to stop my period and it still happened yes it was much much lighter but the pain was still there. I’ve been given some new tablets to try that are supposed to stop my periods but I’m getting sickness every morning and feeling light headed. I’m hopping it will pass I used to be like this on the pill but stopped taking them due to risks with having migraines. I’m in daily pain with fatigue can’t stand feeling like this as my life is on hold. Just wish there was some magical cure

Sorry to hear this. Have you ever tried a tens machine? I used one during each of my labours and it’s pretty good pain relief. Maybe worth a try?

I'd try talk to your Doctors and come off some of that medication. After a while, pain relief is tolerated by the body and stops being effective.

I had a nightmare after a head injury where I was getting bone crushing headaches. Turned out to be the painkillers causing the problem and not the injury for which I was taking them.

There is. Its a hysterectomy.

Completely pain free, after life basically being destroyed.

Only you can make a decision about the trade off though

I only take the pain relief during my period really and yes I have a tens machine it lives stuck to me when I’m at my worst. I’ve considered a hysterectomy but really want children and many doctors have said it may not be a complete cure I will definitely be having one once I’m done with children though
