To ask if/why I was 'banned' from MN?

I asked a question a few days ago that got perfectly reasonable responses and wasn't controversial.

I tried to log in to my account and it said no account exists with that email address. I tried to re-register and it says an account already exists with my email. I've checked my emails and I've had no notifications from mumsnet or anything to say my account has been deleted.

Does anyone know why this might have happened?

I have an email address that doesn't always copy and paste correctly. First thing to try is ignoring auto fill for everything.
