To think a place like Winchester should have a David Lloyd or similar?

There is somewhere very similar right in the middle of winchester but it's very exclusive & invite only. Apparently membership is £££££

OMG, what is this place called? I thought there must be something, do you think it’s some sort of secret society?

Yeah I think it's top secret, like you have to be in the know to get invited.

There's the Winchester Tennis & Squash club on Bereweeke Road which is good.

Thank you SouthOfFrance, I will drive up this weekend to see the Tennis and Squash club, there were so lovely on the phone.I would make a rubbish Gymntrepreneur, being as I need a group to exercise with or I loose the motivation. The gym also doubles up as office and social place to meet friends etc.

It is a really friendly place, they do socials and the lounge/bar is a nice place to hang out too :)

The tennis and squash was very friendly thank you SouthOfFrance.
After lots of trips and school visits, we have settled on Winchester as a place to leave and Short listed Twyford and Farleigh prep schools. If you have any knowledge of the two schools please share. We want a school where parents are actively involved.Attend matches etc. We won’t know anyone in the area so friendly parents will be a bonus.

There's a new sports/leisure centre just built at Bar End so very central.
