To wonder if animals get as stressed by noise as we do?

My neighbours dog gets left each weekday and barks the whole time it's owners are gone. The neighbours are refusing to do anything, saying they don't know what they can do, despite me offering suggestions. The noise disrupts my day severely and stresses me out. I was just wondering if the noise could stress my own pets?

Your neighbours are knobs as they are causing not only you and your pets stress but also their own dog . Tell them if it doesn’t stop you will report them to the council , start keeping a log of every barking incident with times and actually follow through if they don’t do something .

Well fireworks can massively stress pets so I would assume other noises can have the same effect.

@Floralnomad, thank you for your kind reply. My pets don't seem stressed by the noise (but I am!). Working from home is a nightmare. I've thought of leaving the radio on for my pets, but I know the radio would drive me insane on all day, so I don't know about my pets!

Definitely. We had a cat who would leave the house every time he saw me getting my violin case out.

Thank you everyone for your answers. I'm going to move the bunnies to the other spare room at the opposite side of the house. They won't be able to hear the dog from there.
