Name changed as my other name is outing! Just wanted to ask re veins and breast cancer?
Never knew this was a thing - I am very pale (think Victorian ghost child!) and can see veins everywhere on my body and never thought much about it. Scrolling through Facebook today and up came breast cancer awareness with if you have prominent, visible veins in your breast it is a sign and you should get checked.
Now I do have prominent veins especially in my left breast which run down the length of my book with various purple spider veins around them. I also have some in my right but not quite as prominent, I always thought it was normal but am obviously now worried.
I don't have any females that I can talk about this too so just wondered if I am indeed abnormal and should be seen or if it is common and it's only if there is a sudden change you should be concerned?
