Hello

I am looking for recommendations for restaurants in Bristol City Centre.

Not fussed on what cuisine or prices.

Also any good cocktail bars?

Thank you!

Little French in Westbury Park is our fave for a proper meal out but you’ll need to book a table well in advance

We recently went to The Florist on Park Street. It was lovely. The restaurant at Hotel du Vin Avon Gorge is nice too with lovely views over the Clifton Suspension Bridge.

On the Remarkable Places to Eat on TV recently they recommended Little French (mentioned above), The Lido and Glen's Kitchen .

They also mentioned The Newt which isn't on Bristol but in Somerset.

Not a restaurant but if you like cats you must go to Bag of Nails for a pint. My favourite place in Bristol.

Oh gosh there's loads!

Milk Thistle is a great cocktail bar. Food-wise Olive Shed, Paco Tapas, The Ox, Bertha's (or anywhere in the Cargo development) are all excellent options. Hope you have a lovely time 😍

We had a lovely meal at The Spiny Lobster last October, as the name would suggest it's mostly fish.

Cocktails - the FLorist or Hyde & co or Milk Thistle. All very central. Restaurants - totally depends what kind of atmosphere you’re after… the ox is an excellent steak restaurant, pasta ripiena is delicious pasta, Paco tapas super posh tapas. Without more info on what you’re looking for is difficult to say.

Little French is fantastic but not central.

If you like steak, Pasture is fabulous

Box-E or Seven Lucky Gods at Wapping Wharf, both delicious. Nice cocktails in The Rummer in St Nicks Market.

@belleface aaaah good, we're going to Paco Tapas in a couple of weeks! Can't wait.

Aluna for good food and cocktails

TukTuck run by chefs who used to work in tampopo. Not fancy but very tasty.

Milk Thistle for cocktails
If you like Indian food, 4,500 miles from Delhi is fantastic.
If you’re not sure what you fancy, head to Wapping Wharf- fairly new harbourside development with loads of different food places, most of them in cargo sheds.
