Reflecting on life before covid

I was thinking recently how before covid I never gave a thought that if I was ill I would need to isolate for so manty days, I would have just gone outside once I felt well enough to do so. However now with the changes coming next month it will feel weird for me to not have to isolate if you have covid. Also before if I had been in close contact with someone who was ill I would never have worried about getting ill but if I was in close contact with someone now who tested positive for covid my first thought now would be I'm likely to get it.

A friend's husband was seriously ill with cancer for a very long time. Everyone was super cautious if they had a sniffle or baa bug. He exceeded expectations by a couple of years.
You have to wonder if people staying away when they were ill helped.
