And you really wanted to win, what's your menu? And your entertainment?

It’s difficult but I would say no fish/seafood (as lots of people probably don’t like it) and not chicken as a main (not special enough) or veggie.

Starter: tandoori chicken with mini chapatis/naan/poppadoms and dips.

An amuse bouche (sorbet?)

Main: fillet steak with homemade chips, onion rings and a few veg and sauce options.

Dessert: warm chocolate brownie.

Plenty of nice alcohol.

Entertainment: not sure. I guess I would just really try to build a rapport with the guests and get them to open up over some blues music and gin.

I would order from my local award-winning restaurant and pass it off as my own 😉
I would have a drinking game as entertainment and have good music playing.

Starter would be homemade soup, probably celery and apple or seasonal vegetable. Main-braised rump steak with veg and potatoes cooked in the gravy plus green beans, mash and any other fresh veg. Pudding - Portuguese flan with fresh fruit and cream or cheese and poached pears. Don't really like entertainment at dinner - good conversation and music will do for me!

Starter - home made pate, chutney and toast

Main - home made Yorkshire puddings, decent lamb shanks in a red wine sauce, veg & roast baby potatoes.

Dessert . Sorbet, fruit and chocolate sauce

I'd just get my mum to cook whatever she wants ! She is an amazing cook ! I'd tell everyone it was my cooking and split the winnings

Entertainment - I'd get my neighbour to lie down wearing just his pants and serve sushi off him. Sure-fire winner!

Why do people always choose steak as main, the idiots always complain it's not cooked properly.

Starter would be baked Camembert with home made crusty bread. Main would be beef wellington, with a veggie wellington as an alternative, green beans with garlic, thyme and white wine, and truffled Brie mashed potatoes. Desert, maltasers cheesecake.

Entertainment would be get everyone pissed on good red wine, and take it in turns to get Alexa to play the cheesiest (geddit) songs we can think of.

Spiced lentil soup to start with borek on side. Or possibly yogurt soup depending on the season.
Then stuffed dried and then cooked vegetables and vines leaves with some meze on the side yogurt based.
And for dessert semolina cake with syrup and ice cream
