Yabu for not linking it. I was reading that thread at the start then forgot about it and now you've reminded me and I'd like to read it.

I've had loads and have put them on here in the past. Another more recent one was when I went for an interview.

In reality I wasn't well enough to take the job but bloody mindedness had me attending all the same.

I had to wait in the retail area of a well known chain of shops and as I was doing so, a carded item at the front of several identical, started to twist and vibrate wildly. I walked up to this phenomenon to get a closer look. There was no air con or doors open but this one item was spinning and twisting as if it was in a gale force wind.

I was offered the job but by that time I realised I was as unwell as I actually was/am.

I believe this was some entity telling me to walk away as the interview was actually a very difficult one for reasons I won't state here.

DH and I saw the doppleganger of our dog when he was not where we saw him. He was shut in at the time but we both saw him in our garden. We didn't have any other animals at the time and he had a distinctive collar that we both saw.

I read one on reddit I think where a couple of people are driving and go to a cafe, quite late, it was America, and everyone in there greeted them by name and chatted to them. they had never been before and didn't know anyone. when it became clear the pair didn't know anyone they all started acting off and the 2 left.
I can't retell it well but I will try to find it. gives me the heebies.

12yearsinazkaban · 04/05/2022 10:56

and the jeebies too I suppose

I had a mc after three years of TTC. Obviously was gutted but carried on trying, I then got pregnant again on what would have been my estimated due date. My next pregnancy was also a mc but much later in the pregnancy and occurred the same date as my previous mc. Few months later and I got pregnant again on what would have been my due date. My next DC I got pregnant first attempt and the DC after that was an accidental pregnancy and also only took the once. They both had the same due date, one arrived ten late early and the other arrived ten days early. They both weighed the same (9lb exact) and both have the same light brown birth mark on their thigh and same freckle/mark under the hairline on their scalp.

More a series of coincidences than a glitch but I like coincidences.

In the strict meaning of glitch in the matrix, ie remembering something that didn't actually happen: me and my Dad both remember West Side Story (the original) having the screen split into four parts during Tonight, so you can see Tony, Maria, Anita and the Sharks or the Jets all at once. Doesn't happen.

And something similar to PP but not really strictly "glitch in the matrix" -
After looking round our current house as potential buyers DH and I repaired to the nearest pub where the barman said "your usual?" - we had never been there before, we lived 50 miles away - but we did end up buying the house and the pub is now our local (I don't go there often enough to have a "usual" though!)
