Quite stressed out right now!

Name changed for this. On the 25th I tested positive for covid. I have been isolating for 10 days and today is my last day of isolation. Test and trace called me today asking me for my id number to prove I had been isolating. The problem is I cant find the message anywhere and the app isn't loading.

They have said if I dont find it I have to start isolation again for another 10 days. I can not find the messages anywhere (either email or text) and am beginning to panic, as I don't want to have to isolate for another 10 days, or get fined for leaving early. ☹️

Does anyone have any suggestions?

You must have either an email or text? They bombard you afterall

How does giving them an ID number prove if you’ve isolated? It would make no sense for them to make you isolate any longer if they know the date you tested positive? Plus surely they have your details if they called you?!

Really?! They'll come and hunt you down? I thought they didn't bother with that any more.

@KatyRebecca84 I'm not sure how that proves I've been isolating but apparently that's the only way they can prove I have according to them.

Tell them they must have it on their system somewhere, so you’d be obliged if they could let you have it next time they pester you call to check up on you.

I thought track and trace were being disbanded! Just ignore their calls, what can they do?!

Seriously worrying levels of interference. PCRs are not even necessary anymore so why on earth are they even calling you. They are scrapping isolation next month. Do you think it is a hoax?

I went to Waitrose today and the staff are obviously being paid to give side eyes to the many of us that were not wearing masks, the whole thing has got out of hand. It is utterly utterly ridiculous.

I hope it is a scam, and we as taxpayers are not paying for this stupidity.

Ignore them. I tested positive I refuse to use the app. I reported my positive LFT and got an email to say isolate for 10 days and to test on day 5 and 6. I reported my negative tests on day 5 & 6 and apart from email acknowledgment I heard nothing from them. How will a number prove you isolated?

It could well be harassment/a scam. If they call tomorrow then I will simply tell them I've completed my isolation , and that it will be on their system somewhere, thanks everyone x
