To think the Spa expects people to have sex in the Rasul?

Booking for a well known spa and been on their website today.

The website is making a big deal out of their Rasul being back open again in time for Valentine's Day.

I've always had my suspicions it's a sex room - but the wording of their re-opening advertising has made me want to ask others who are maybe more in the know.

So - the Rasul - do people have sex in there?

Omg! I know which spa you mean as well. I’m booked in for that week, luckily not for the rasul room!

User2638483 · 03/02/2022 11:20

No idea what a rasul room is but ewww

CounsellorTroi · 03/02/2022 11:20

Have sex while covered in mud?

LittleGwyneth · 03/02/2022 11:21

What's the wording?!

AppaTheSixLeggedFlyingBison · 03/02/2022 11:23

I also think I know what spa your talking about but don't think your right. It says on the adverts with your partner or for valentine's (which is friends celebrating together), so don't think they're getting at that at all.
It's a treatment where you cover yourself in mud then go into a mini steam room. I can't imagine wanting to have sex covered in mud or in a very hot tiny room tbh

AppaTheSixLeggedFlyingBison · 03/02/2022 11:23

*or for galentines NOT valentines

Pootles34 · 03/02/2022 11:29

I know which one you mean, and yes 100%. You go in as a couple, and lock the door behind you apparently - so offputting. Poor bugger that has to clean it in between couples.

Leftbutcameback · 03/02/2022 11:33

Hmmm. I wouldn’t want to have sex covered in mud either. Grim

RandomQuest · 03/02/2022 11:33

If it’s a thing it must be in the shower afterwards. No one wants dried on mud caked up their vagina and shagging in a steam room at best would be completely gross and at worst could be a heart attack.

WhyYesYABU · 03/02/2022 11:37

Are you talking about Nirvana spa? I wouldn't say the advert implies that at all. If not what is the wording that makes you think that?

Chimchimcharoo · 03/02/2022 11:46

This experience was given to us as part of the honeymoon package at our wedding venue. Sold as a sensual experience for couples. We were told to cover each other in mud and sit in the steam room. It did not lead to sex. Very unsexy experience- led to showering a lot separately as the mud smell was overpowering. Can’t imagine that practically anyone could or would want to either!

St0rmTr00per · 03/02/2022 12:24

"getting dirty has never been so much fun" is the wording

St0rmTr00per · 03/02/2022 12:26

if its the same one

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 03/02/2022 12:31

I can't imagine anything less romantic, even Daniel Craig covered in mud would be a turn off for me. And mud in crevices sounds like the perfect recipe for a GP appointment.

LimeSegment · 03/02/2022 12:32

I think this is a common thing. I went to a spa once and got a couples massage, then they leave the room and the couple can have a spa bath together for 20 mins. That's not really my thing so we didn't do anything, but it's definitely implied and I'm sure some people do.

Gonnagetgoing · 03/02/2022 12:43

No idea which spa you're referring to but I've been to the Dolphin Square Moroccan Spa with a partner which has a rhasul room and shower room and also steam and the heated beds area as well as massage rooms. We would never have sex there and I'm sure the doors aren't lockable.

Apparently that area is used by sex workers (high class).

Having said that I dated a guy briefly who said he had sex with a GF in a jacuzzi with others there Hmm Shock. Why?

Yes DH and I went to a spa once and we were in the same room for a massage. I found it a bit annoying really. I want to be in my own, I have visions of the masseurs making faces at each other behind our backs! When they left DH asked me whether it was normal for the masseuse to lodge the bottle of oil in your bum crack. Grin Confused

I'm sorry but what?! They lodged the bottle in his bum crack? Really??? I don't think my bum crack would hold a bottle Grin perhaps your husband has particularly perky bum cheeks?
Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 03/02/2022 12:56

He has got quite a perky bum unlike the rest of him Grin

Absolutely, thrush or BV waiting to happen.
StickerPlace · 03/02/2022 13:21

Thanks for the replies all.

I was also thinking the mud in crevices would be a bad combo. And I can't sit still for long in a sauna let alone have sex.

But the wording and fact they sell it for couples/valentines and push the "personal" aspect had me wanting to ask. As we also had it sold as a potential add on at our honeymoon hotel and have assumed since then it was something people did as a sex thing.

Didn't want to ask folks in real life - so MN was the place to get opinion.

It's bound to be some sort of farmyard link for someone. But probably not for everyone

3scape · 03/02/2022 13:27

*kink even

Hoppinggreen · 03/02/2022 13:31

My friend recommended it and suggested that her and her DH had indeed “got dirty in there”. When I looked at the spa she mentioned there was definitely a bit of a sexy vibe about the whole thing and when we booked in the therapist who showed us to the room was a bit “nudge nudge wink wink”

DH threw mud in my eye accidentally and I was just too hot and gritty for him to even come within 2 feet of me. All very un erotic as it turned out

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 03/02/2022 13:40

I would not be rolling myself in munk.

And aye. The word used is deliberate. That is what I imagine it to be.
