We find out the energy price increases (sorry for stating the obvious!!)
Slightly nervous about what this means for us!

Thanks to lockdown and a lot of tightening belts we've managed to get our finances in a good place, so "should" be able to cope with an increase, but if its doubling or going higher than that then we are in trouble!

It'll be interesting to see what is said today

It means energy bills go up by about 50%, this has been well leaked. There's no real mystery.

I'm very worried by how we're going to cope especially when they go up again in October

KissKissButtCheek · 03/02/2022 12:36

@nellly - snap! As it stands from April we'll be paying an extra £80pm
Very worrying

Ours has quite literally doubled already from £80
To £160 Sad

girafferafferaffe · 03/02/2022 20:46

Ours is 180 already :(

I ignored Martin Lewis when he said not to fix so at least we're fixed on £129 a month until Nov 23

Just checked and the new fixes are a grand more a year!

Guess I’ll just have to curl up and die
