WIBU to keep quiet about moving towns?

My daughter is completely non-verbal despite just turning two and because of other contributing medical factors, she's been referred for speech and language therapy.

We've been on the waiting list for our first consultation for literally months, with that worry that she's falling further behind with every week that passes always in my mind.

Just had a phone call to say she's now top of the list and we should expect an appointment within weeks.

Only, we move out of their patch on Friday and if we tell the team, we'll be passed to another hospital and put on their waiting lists for god knows how long.

Would it be unreasonable to somehow fudge things and tell them we've moved to my parents' address in the same town, for example?

We're only moving to the next town so we'll still be able to get to all the appointments with no problem.

What would you do? Does anyone know the potential consequences?

I'd do as you said, give them your parents' address. Why put your daughter at the bottom of another waiting list? I moved villages & never changed my GP because the GP in my new village is oversubscribed, so I gave the old GP my parents' address and said it was mine. Never had an issue.
