Can help in understanding exactly what constitutes Antisocial Behaviour from a police point of view please.
I know I am, but it's busy here & I hope someone might drop in who works in this area, sorry
We have a long term ongoing nasty noisy neighbour issue. Which is driving us round the bend to put it mildly. He is basically screeching his self serving, nasty bigoted, misogynistic aggressive & often very offensive "prayers" to the heavens with all of his windows open right under our bedroom windows & heard loudly in our kitchen too & at his worst in our living room & bathroom too.
It's a business, but the owner now lives there since his DW kicked him out. for being a nasty abusive git ignores his permitted hours in his kitchen, caught in EHL tape & still nothing is done by EHL. We've had every imaginable problem with his business since he moved in about 4 years ago. A lot of it dealt with by EHL at the time, but they've pretty much washed their hands of the constant aggressive sounding noise issue, after doing very little, even in response to a dat machine full of his screeching. After no action & continued disturbances, we were advised to ring the police too. The police took it very seriously, but after warning him lots, playing our recordings to him, seem reluctant to take it further despite telling us they deem it severe.
We realise from talking to them that they can only cover antisocial behaviour from a police POV, so we need to concentrate on that only, but they don't tell us exactly what that is. Noisy Git (NG) now boxes clever with stopping & starting his rants, so making catching the blatantly offensive stuff more difficult. We have a few bastards on tape & other stuff, but need to know what to play upon to actually get some real help. It's so stressful to live with.
We are offended that he forces his nasty version of Christianity into our non Christian household daily & at all hours from 6 am to 2 am.
We are offended & sickened to hear him shouting "blood blood blood" cover me in your blood Jesus" whilst loudly chopping up meat for his business... whilst we cook our vegetarian meals.
We are offended to hear him "praying" that the DW who left him for abuse, which we also heard. "Falls on her knees at his feet & begs his forgiveness, whilst a few breaths later "send me a nice white woman to soothe & comfort me til "***" comes home... this shit gives me the rage, as does much. Of what I hear day in, day out
"Heal the gay man" burn the witch, curse the witch, all witchcraft is evil, burn them with your fire" "fire fire fire", suddenly screeched from nowhere making me jump out of my skin, not least because I have been in a fire in the past.
Blood, fire, witchcraft slurs, bastard, all caught on tape, not homophobic or anti muslin stuff we've heard too
I'm disabled, consequently stuck at home a lot & he wears me down mentally & physically. Currently fighting migraine thanks to his earlier screech up
He is definitely thinks he is preaching too, it's obvious by some of his phrasing
We have a police interview coming up & we need to get this right as far as exactly what the police can deal with, which isn't the noise.
Googling doesn't help as everything I've found just covers it all together, not which is police & which is EHL
