Poss move to Crowborough

We are considering a house move to Crowborough. Are there any areas to avoid? We are looking at property in valley view close. Crowborough seems to offer good range of supermarkets, is on edge of Ashdown Forest so good for dog walks, and opinion is that it is a friendly place to live. Just want to make sure we don’t pick the wrong area. Schools not needed.

Personally I think Crowborough is hugely overpriced. It doesn't have much of a high Street, although the trains do go direct to London. Check on the crime rates... I think they are higher than surrounding towns. Valley View is in a nice part of town. I would avoid Jarvis Brook.
