I feel so guilty

A couple of weeks ago I noticed on the Sunday something on my car needed fixing and it would be illegal to drive in the condition it was in. Therefore first thing Monday morning I got someone to come to the house and fix it, it was all done and fixed by 10 o clock. Instead of going in to work then and starting a bit later and I took the rest of the day of. I contacted work on the Sunday and let them know I wouldn’t be able to come in on the Monday and apologised. At the time I thought the job to fix my car would take longer than it actually did. I feel so guilty about taking the rest of the day of when I could have gone in to work.

Why are you still stressing about it now? It’s done and you can’t change it.

Jesus get over it 🙄

I would absolutely not be feeling guilty about this so you're a better person than me, take comfort in that. ;)

If you feel that bad about it, request that you take it as a day's holiday, or work through your lunch for a week to compensate, or just forget it. They probably already have

Some people really love to be a martyr

itwasntaparty · 31/01/2022 10:22

I think you need to let it go!

phishy · 31/01/2022 10:23

Could you have WFH?

Don’t stress
