To not want to mum today?

I'm absolutely done in. I have 2 dc and work 5 days a week rarely get a break from the day to day life of being a parent.
My dc are constantly asking what where doing and where we're can we do this that and the other. I just feel like I never stop my house is a tip I need to cook dinner, clean uniforms and try to meal prep for the week and I just don't want to do it, but there isn't anyone else to help out.

All I've heard today is mum god knows how many times, all I want to do is sit on my sofa with the curtians closed and watch a nice film with a cup of coffee.

Oh me too. I don't know it YABU but I am so with you. It is relentless

Just to add I take them to all their activities on a weekend also, I do have a dp but he isn't their dad and doesn't live with us and I rarely get to spend quality time with him.
Their dad isn't much use and hasn't done anything with them since last summer.

I think it’s common to feel like that.
Tell your kids your having a fun movie afternoon, get them snacks, shut the curtains, get your coffee, and just sit for a bit.
Get a takeaway if you want, just take a couple of hours to re-set. Can the meal planning wait til tomorrow, or be used through the week?

I've already said I'll take them cinema, so if I change my mind all I'll get is moaning.
Dinner is on so we can just eat when we get back and unfortunately I can't do it in the week as it is usually quite full on, with school runs after school clubs at work some nights we don't get back home until 9pm so I like to try and have a decent meal for them through the week ready for when they get home from school.
