To be delighted DH is back in the office on Monday?

I’m not a complete witch and he will be WFH some of the time, but just the fact he will be spending the day somewhere other than the house is a cause for celebration 🎉

YANBU. WFH definitely made my DH a bit slobby so I’m glad he’ll be getting i to a work routine again.

I’ve been going in a couple of days a week which helped me a lot to maintain some distance between work and life.

I felt this on Friday when he went back. I walked back into such a peaceful house after the school run it was amazing! I was only able to relish it for a couple of minutes before being out to sort errands but oh so peaceful!

He even keeps to himself more when WFH. Our office is in the conservatory so it's not like we've had to work around him.

Saaaaame. I WFH for 10 years pre-Covid and had the routine down pat, including a faux-mmute and other things that stop it feeling claustrophobic. DP has got so “trapped in his squalid cave” and miserable at home, and we’re in each other’s hair, and it’s just awful and even though he insists he hates going into the office, the 2 days a week he was doing pre-omicron were a breath of fresh air: he was happier, healthier, livelier. And I got my routine back.

DH is still WFH as all the places he used to travel to have realised it’s cheaper for them as they don’t have to pay his accommodation.

However he’s quite glad of that as he’s ‘outgrown’ all of his suits and needs to buy some more.

He’s tucked up in his office and typically I’m at work 4/5 days so it’s not been too bad.

However we spent 17 years pre pandemic with him working away Sun-Fri so it’s been a real adjustment spending so much time together. That had been great for DD though, and also eye opening for him in the amount that I do.
