I know we have no right to expect people to come back with outcomes on their previous posts but I would love to know how it went for poor workworkworkugh (hope I got her name right) and her son and his girlfriend

Sorry I thought I disabled voting. I hope it's an ex girlfriend by now

Yes I was thinking about her the other day. It was such a nightmare for her (and her son). I really hope he has seen the light

OrtolanVeil · 29/01/2022 14:33

Yes, me too.

NameChangeinHaste · 29/01/2022 14:33

Me too, I really felt for her. An impossible situation.

Apparentlystillchilled · 29/01/2022 14:34

I searched for her posts the other day but couldn’t find anything new. Hope she is ok. X

BarryTheKestrel · 29/01/2022 14:35

I think of her and her family often on here, hoping to see an update where he's finally seen the light and ditched the manipulative abusive girlfriend.

overthethamesfromyou · 29/01/2022 14:38

I thought she did update on the final thread (or maybe an earlier one that had a couple of posts left) to say that it had ended and life was good. I'm pretty sure it was around Christmas time.

Here, right at the end of thread 2

My 16yo DS and his girlfriend (Part 2) http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/amiibeingunreasonable/4223467-my-16yo-ds-and-his-girlfriend-part-2

Glad I didn't just dream it Grin

Teaandtoastedbiscuits · 29/01/2022 14:45

@overthethamesfromyou oh really! That's brilliant I must have a look. I'm feeling like such a nosey parker to be asking about it but really wanted it to work out well for her and her family

Thanks overthethames I had the latest threads bookmarked but not the older one!

Bortles · 03/02/2022 11:05

Was wondering about this too. Great news for the OP and son.

Raindancer411 · 10/02/2022 19:14

Was there a part 4, as part 3 got full and never saw any more from her

Unfortunately that was a post from May 2021.

Workworkworkugh then started thread 3 and things got worse.

The last situation wasn't a happy one.
I frequently think about what that poor lady is going through.

overthethamesfromyou · 11/02/2022 04:32

Right at the end of that thread, there was an update in December 21. I think she was posting there as the other threads were full or removed.

Notsureaboutusername · 21/08/2022 10:55

I think her last thread (number 4) got pulled and she updated on new thread that life was now good and that the girlfriend was now an ex and her son was back enjoying life with his friends and his sport.
