AIBU?
Unsolicited advice

It’s getting to the point now I feel like I can’t be bothered keeping my partners mum in the loop with our life as with absolutely anything we end up getting a tonne of unasked for/unwanted opinions and advice.
We are by no means young and it’s starting to feel quite patronising now.
Aibu in wanting it to stop? Is it normal?
How do you stop it without creating ww3?

I learnt some time ago to only tell my own mum certain things as I don’t want her comments as I know what she can be like. I call her once a fortnight and visit in half terms - texts inbetween the calls now and then. That’s enough

It’s honestly with everything and un-escapable because she thinks she knows best.
Unless we went no contact I don’t think it can be avoided, it’s getting quite bad.
