I saw the long running thread earlier but thought I’d add my own as it poses a different question
I applied for PIP from DLA for my DC who has autism, anxiety and a myriad of other problems. I called DWP to chase as it was sent in August and they now have the report and I am waiting on a decision. As the decision is 8-12 long (!!) I requested a copy of the report to see what the assessor said.
I found the report to be very fair and accurate actually, so I’m wondering if the DWP decision maker generally go along with the recommendation of award and award length, or do they often award fewer points etc.
Grateful for any input!
