To ask if you can identify this pill?

I vaguely remember being prescribed a capsule medication as a teenager that was a tan colour on one end and clear at the other filled with tiny multicoloured balls. I’ve halfheartedly made efforts to find out what it was then I saw this picture in the guardian today and it reminded me! Can anyone identify it? Thank you all!

This might be an obvious question, but any ideas whatsoever what it might have been prescribed for?

Probably an antibiotic of some sort

If you use main search features you can change from tan to beige or whatever

Do you have ADHD? Dextroamphetamine looks like that.

If you've misremembered the colours, then it might also be an antibiotic such as doxycycline.

Thanks all. I had post viral syndrome, thought to have been triggered by undiagnosed glandular fever infection. I thought the capsules were prescribed for that but maybe I had sinusitis at the same time and they were contac 400? They look very similar but not exactly how I remember but it was a long time ago!

I'm impressed with those remembering Contac 400. I worked as a Saturday girl in pharmacy in the early nineties and remember they were so popular. I wouldn't have remembered the name though.

I'm actually taking its blue and white descendent, still made by contac, this morning for sinus issues. A life time of them! I am well habituated with the drugs now.
