There is news about this - with photos of him standing on the jury table with his trousers around his ankles - online today. He also poked his finger through his fly to pretend to expose himself and undid his shirt and played with his nipples.
Simon Cowell was apparently angry and told him to get off stage - which seems appropriate to me. But reports are describing it as 'mischievous' and that as it's been so long since the last filmed, he's like a schoolboy after the summer holidays being naughty. FFS! It's sexually inappropriate behaviour in any work place, surely? He also asked a male contestant if his talent was getting his "cock" out. (Cowell apparently asked him to apologise for that too - and he made a further inappropriate comment instead).
AIBU to think this is beyond unacceptable behaviour? He is filming on a family show, not some late night show. The inability to judge these multiple behaviours as inappropriate is incredibly worrying.
This guy is an utter embarrassment to himself and anybody with him in public. The fact that he got "told off by bosses" is ridiculous. He shouldn't be on a show like that. If there's a zero tolerance to sexually inappropriate behaviour towards women, then there should be towards men too. If he'd done these actions to a woman (by all accounts he is focussing on men) I'd hope he'd be off the show. Why is it different because he's a children's author targeting men?!
