Why are vaccine sceptics constantly trying to convert everyone to their club by sharing anti-vax memes constantly on Social?

I get it: you don't want the jab but stop trying to put fear into those who do

I dunno, you'd have to ask them.
I don't see much of this TBH - maybe it's to do with who you see on "social".

Winniemarysarah · 21/01/2022 14:00

I’ve seen more memes taking the piss out of anti vaxxers tbh

Soubriquet · 21/01/2022 14:00

Well the whole point of being anti-vax, is not just being against them, but believing they are actively harming you.

Therefore they are “warning” people not to take the vaccine because it will harm them

Distant01 · 21/01/2022 14:02

I haven't seen that many either. Maybe you're just being a bit sensitive OP.
Sometimes if you're looking for something you'll find it!

x2boys · 21/01/2022 14:02

I don't get it either ,either have the vaccines or don't but don't try and tell everyone else what to do .

docmcstuffinherface · 21/01/2022 14:03

There's no way i'm getting into THAT conversation with these people

SummerHouse · 21/01/2022 14:06

They honestly think it's a conspiracy. They think they are doing a service to those who don't think the same. They feel so strongly they can't sit by and watch people "risk" getting the vaccine. Maybe they are right.

There's equally plenty who feel everyone should get vaccinated regardless of any personal feelings, views or concerns.

Anyone shouting about getting the vaccine, or not getting the vaccine etc, I am not listening.

I am fully vaccinated. What anyone else chooses is up to them I think.

docmcstuffinherface · 21/01/2022 14:07

It is a tiny minority fortunately but people i used to be close to but have had to distance myself from lately

XenoBitch · 21/01/2022 14:33

I have never been convinced of anything by a meme... because they are just memes.

RedFlagsAllOver · 21/01/2022 15:08

My mum is 60, smoked for years, now vapes but refuses the vaccine. Says she's not putting that shit in her body 😑. Says it's no worse than a cold. Really winds me up

mumof2exhausted · 21/01/2022 15:15

Don’t know why but I’ve deleted two “friends” from Facebook as that is literally all they post at the moment. One was my (now ex) hairdresser as I just can’t listen to her conspiracy bollocks

doodledigs · 21/01/2022 16:10

I have a friend who is against the vaccine and believes all the conspiracies .

He recently gave up smoking Confused but is now taking a pill to help

I presume said pill has undergone decades of vigorous testing and research 🧐
