I’ve been very unwell with long Covid for months.
I really want to get my vaccine but daughter is now positive ( again - she also had it last autumn when I did )
If I remain negative would it be safe for me to get the jab as soon as I’m out of isolation?
I was very nervous but equally relieved to have booked in for Saturday after months of weighing up in the jab could increase my terrible long Covid symptoms or indeed help and then this happened Confused
I would just like to know when would be deemed “ safe “ for me to get the vaccine as I can never say I have NO symptoms as I always feel unwell.

Yes, as long as you haven’t tested positive yourself or got covid symptoms, you’re fine to get the vaccination.

Really hope things improve for you. Flowers

Sorry , as long as you don’t have the sort of covid symptoms that mean you’d need to continue to isolate.

Thanks - it’s very hard as I always feel like I’ve got Covid.
No cough though and never have had one so will have to take that and a normal temperature as my green light.
So upset that I can’t get it tomorrow but guess it’s best I know as not sure if the vaccine would have made me unwell if I happened to be carrying it from my daughter but just not returning a positive test yet Confused
