It's a fairly new job. I've had to take 2 days off this week and they were days when I had a lot on my to-do list which I know will either lead to delays with projects or mean my colleagues have to take over while I am absent. We are already on very tight timelines due to external factors.
I feel really guilty, I quickly checked my emails this morning when I was logging my absence on my work laptop and I have a tidal wave of tasks waiting for me.
