Does what I'm wanting exist?

Looking at going abroad for the first time next summer with our (then 4 year old twins).

I want all inclusive but ideally an apartment on the AI complex, such as 2 bedrooms, a little kitchenette and a very small sitting area.

Is this just a dream or does this actually exist? If it does please give me your recommendations

TIA

Yes we used to go with Mar Hotels. They have places in Menorca, Majorca, Ibiza etc. We'd go all inclusive but we also had a 2 bed apartment with a small kitchen. I've just googled Mar Hotels and even though we last went away with them in 2019 it looks as though they've sold some of their hotels? Another tip is Jet 2 website you can search for these types of places - you can stipulate and apartment but also all inclusive. Other websites like TUI you can't. Good luck.

Yes they exist! Some resorts have aparthotels.

We’re going to Mousses in Greece this year, haven’t been yet obvs but sounds like what you’re after - individual villas but with restaurant, housekeeping, kids club, food etc of an AI. As far as I am led to believe by DH at least!

Or, we have been to some AIs in Dominican Republic which had kitchenette in the apartment, and IIRC our bungalow thing at Sani had a kitchenette but I don’t think Sani is AI.

Definitely exist, lots of places do ai/self catering/half board etc etc so you get an apartment with the board option you want.

We have 2 dc and been here several times www.a10hotels.es/en/hotel/club-del-sol/ really reccomend

Have a look at holiday village hotels.
Amazing for kids too

We did a half board at the inturotel esmerelda park hotel, one bedroom apartment with nice sofa beds in the main living area. Kids slept in there and we were in bedroom. There was access to balcony from our bedroom so it was fine for evenings etc.

Also on the same complex there are villas where you can have two actual bedrooms:
www.inturotel.com/hotels/inturotel-esmeralda-villas/gastronomia/

You can choose to have access to hotel facilities or not, so I think you could also do half board (not sure about AI though)

We stayed with Tui very cheaply Oct hols last year and were really surprised how much we liked it. We stayed in a one bed apartment with sofa beds in the living room/kitchen for kids but I think they have bigger apartments with 2 bedrooms.

Protur Bonaire Aparthotel in Cala bona, we booked through TUI. One of the best holidays we went on when the kids were 2 and 3

Have a look at Pierre et Vacances. We stayed at one of their resorts in Fuerteventura, which matched your exact brief! Fab kids pool too.

I went here as a child! Amazing hotel I agree. Probably even better now 20 year down the line.
