Foot surgery

When I was little I had surgery on my toes as they curled under. I'm almost 40 and my second toe on my left foot is a hammer/claw toe and longer. My second toe on my right foot is longer but straight. They get really sore and the pain goes up my foot particularly my left. I think it's neuroma?
Has anyone had surgery to fix their toes? How much was it privately and how long do you think I'd be waiting if they even do it on nhs? I wouldn't even know what to say to gp as they'd probably just tell me to stretch them but I can't it's impossible or give me ibuprofen.

I had a toe removed because of a similar problem I have no pain any joyful. This was a few years ago but only waited about 4 month's on nhs. Hope this helps

I had a mallet toe fused on the nhs. I didn’t have to wait long, but mine was worse than yours and was fixed in position. No harm in speaking to your gp.

I had three toes on each foot that curled under, so had the tendons cut in the back of each as a teenager. Over the next ten years I developed a Mortons neuroma in between the metatarsal on one foot, above the toe, and had to have it removed as it was very painful.
