To absolutely DETEST cleaning?

God, I hate it, can’t get motivated to clean at all. Cooking, shopping etc, I don’t mind. Cleaning 😫

Yes, bathrooms the absolute worst. How can I motivate myself to do downstairs today, upstairs tomorrow. I’m just sat here 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

Opposite for me.

Can vacuum and mop floors all day but cannot being myself to cook for other people. For myself I can manage but the thought of making food just so someone else can take the last drumstick? I don't think so

@GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing I have a cleaner to do the big clean every couple of weeks, but she’s away for 3 weeks 😫this prompted the post as I’ll have to do it all myself

I quite enjoy cleaning, I put a podcast on and feel very productive

I agree but equally hate having a messy home so it’s always a battle .

I love it when I'm able, Unfortunately I'm not at the moment so I'm getting a cleaner in.
Can you get a different cleaner for a one off clean whilst yours is away OP?

I cannot describe my hatred of doing floors. It’s like you’ve done everything, and now you r hit to do those bastards.

Particularly wooden floors with rugs on. Sweep floors, vacuum rugs, mop floor. 3 different things😒

Cleaner comes here every two weeks at the moment. It’s not enough but I can’t afford every week at the moment!

It's the never ending slog of washing clothes. It's not the washing of them but the folding and putting away gets on my tits. I despise it.

I can cope with washing and folding. It’s the getting them dry that l bloody hate! Drape over this, hang over that 🤮

I agree! I've just done the bathroom and sitting on my MN instead of doing the kitchen!

I equally hate having a messy house though so it's a vicious cycle really 😂

Ah - now i quite enjoy laundry!

But i will find anything anything to get out of starting the bathroom.

Don't mind cleaning. Can't stand cooking, especially the planning of it. I do 95% of all cleaning and laundry and DH does 95% of all food planning, shopping and organising. Works for me.

And then once i start the bathroom i find it's perfectly fine. Doesn't take long and gives good satisfaction.

But i build it up to the size of a cow!

I'd struggle with having a cleaner.

Years ago i was a cleaner (for a couple of v big posh houses) and i hated doing it. Now i'm in quite a big posh house myself i'd feel i'd have to clean before the cleaner got here and that's even more pressure than cleaning just for us!!
