Hi,

Sorry not AIBU but my shark vacuum has just broke and I need to order a new one ASAP

Personally thought the shark was a bit shit, so can anyone recommend a new vacuum?

Thank you

Miele all the way for me.

Bosch Athlet is my favourite. Not too pricey either.

I like the vax range as they're lightweight and can handle my wood flooring as well as the thick carpets upstairs. Our motorised floor head has just broken (around 5 years old) and will be replaced with a similar one, around £100 new so not bad.

Dyson. Expensive but so much better suction and manouverability compared to any other brand.

Another vote for miele

Goawayangryman · 16/01/2022 17:32

I've just bought a cheap stick bush brand one from Argos. So much better than my Miele which I was always having to clean and empty and cut the sodding filter bits to the right size blah.

I love my corded Shark (cordless ones are awful) but if I had the money, it would be a Miele

We've got a Dyson small ball (corded) and a lightweight Vax Air.
Both are pretty good.

Would not buy a cordless, lots of carpet and 2 cats - I think I'd kill one Grin
