I've watched a few of my favourite rom coms this weekend and I'm seeing it from a mid 30s woman POV now rather than a late teens/20s woman.
Rumor has it-so Jennifer Anistons character was not overly excited about getting engaged and she was definitely having doubts about her fiancé, but ultimately she slept with Beau and suddenly had an epiphany that the boring guy would be enough for her. Wtf. I found myself actually annoyed when her and her fiancé get back together at the end....
The Wedding Planner..... Matthew McC is a 2 timing sleaze who is engaged and planning his wedding but is dating other women and lying to them!! But it's ok because he really loves jLo and true love excuses acting like a dick.
I'm just wondering how these crap films made impressions on us as young women!!
Also I'm isolating so ive plenty time to get worked up about this.
Ps loving Encanto, disney film not about a young girl needing to find a man!
