I am getting my head in a spin. I sometimes get health anxiety and it’s getting in a spin. I’m imagining pains all over my body and then I start to actually feel them and then think there’s something wrong with me. It’s not normally this bad but I’m feeling like there’s loads wrong in my body. It’s freaking me out and I’m trying to talk myself out of it but I’m just getting in a spin.

Right op sit down and relax your shoulders just let them drop down, focus on your breathing, in through your nose for 5 or through perused lips for 10.
If you start to think about your body hurting tell yourself this is your anxiety, drop and relax your shoulders and focus on your breathing. When you bath or try and relax, don't with if you can't just try.

That last bit was meant to say when you breathe out try and relax, don't worry if you can't

This happened to me for a brief period and I never thought you could actually imagine up pains from nowhere but you absolutely can!!

Shooting sore pains everywhere. Convinced it was all my lymph nodes.

It wasn't..it was anxiety so keep telling yourself you're fine and the stress is doing this.

As you calm down, the pains will subside.

Be very kind to yourself.

We will help reassure you but also keep reassuring yourself... "I am ok , I'm going to take care of myself now and make sUre I relax, breathe, make myself comfortable"

Thanks so much to both of you. I will try and calm down a bit.

I can recommend a book I've found helpful in dealing with my health anxiety: "How to come alive again" by Beth Mccoll. It's a horrible form of anxiety, but there is a lot you can do to make it manageable.
