To be underemployed in a 6-9 hour role (Waiting for something else to come along) or to stay unemployed?

I’d take the job, but I don’t think there is a right or wrong answer, so many other factors

Prospective employers are usually reassured by the fact another employer chose to employ them... It demonstrates more value than unemployment.

EMployment is generally better for mental health and future employment. However, those are generalizations and there may be other factors to consider.

What are the pros and cons from your perspective?

Impossible to say without knowing what the job is.

Are you working from home? Do you have to commute? Is it skilled? Do you have experience?
