To think this message should have gone against LinkedIn’s professional community policy?

I received a message via linked in from a random connection that simply said “I want to kill myself”

I ignored it and reported it. Apparently they have reviewed it and found it is within keeping with their professional community policies?

I’ve always thought LinkedIn is a bit crap but I’m fairly certain this doesn’t fall within their community policy that conversation should be professionally relevant and on topic.

I hope someone from LinkedIn has contacted the individual to make sure they're OK & are seeking the help they clearly need.

Doubt it the email response was just a generic “this has been reviewed and deemed fine, feel free to remove them if you don’t want any further communication” type email

Is it possible the report went to a bot?
