Trying to take a private plate off a car and put the original one back on so the car can be sold.
DVLA website not allowing this to be done online so duly sent all the documents by post as the website instructed.
Weeks have gone by and no comms from the DVLA and every time I ring, the message says they are busy and cuts me off!
I want to know how long this is going to take - AIBU to want to hold on even if it’s for ages just so I can find out when I might be able to sell my car?!
Bonus points for any info on turn around times for this type of DVLA process

YANVU - You are paying £80 and so should be able to speak to someone even if you have to hold for ages
