To stab dh's hand with a fork as it snuck towards the big pile of food I have cooked today ready for the big family dinner tomorrow?

Ok, so he did go to Tesco this morning for me, the poor sod. He got back, was sweating and shaking and clearly had PTSD.

But I've been cooking all manner of goodies ready for lots of guests tomorrow and I saw him lean over my efforts with his beady eye on my luverly puff pastry blueberry & pecan bites and I yelled at him "NOOOOOOOOOOOO"....and so when a few seconds later he turned round with sausage roll crumbs on his chin, trying to edge past me, looking like he had nothing in his mouth, iyswim, I waved the fork round like a mad woman and scared him to death

I've sent him out again for bananas - apparently Tesco had none.

So.

When he gets back, should I let him have another sausage roll or should I set the dogs on him?

isn't he doing that time-honoured christmas role of being quality controller?

It's Christmas.

You can stab whoever you like. It's traditional, dammit.

Here in the Inferiority Complex I managed to break all records by flouncing off to bed shouting NOBODY CARES ABOUT ME at 8.45am.

And then I had to emerge for breakfast (having already had Seasonal Row with Mr Inferior about who was going to make breakfast) because nobody even noticed, damn their eyes.
