Does anyone know anything about laptops?

Sorry for posting on aibu but I'm desperate. My DELL laptop keeps turning off as soon as I turn it on.
Sometimes it lasts for 5-10 mins and then will just shut off again. I need it for zoom calls tomorrow :(

Lots of dust in the fan and over hearing would be my guess

Is it running on mains or the battery when it does this?

Battery?? My batteries have died in the past & my laptop would only run from mains power.

More details needed to solve, but you know you can use your phone for zoom? I've conducted quite important meetings from my phone in emergencies!
