got a new mattress about 6 years ago. Payed hundreds for it. Don't remember where I bought it. It has a ten year warrantee. Threw away the reciept, didn't think it'd be an issue. two years in and I've flipped it multiple times. we're not overweight or anything. Not been used as a trampoline - honest. Nor have we been at it like rabbits Grin. The springs have been painful to lie on for years. I have other high expenses which mean I don't know if I can buy a new one for a few months yet. Savings are for more important things.

Rather than keeping batteries that dont work in drawers and the instructions for that DVD player you don't have anymore - I suggest keeping your reciepts for things like mattresses. Don't let this happen to you

two years in and I'd flipped it multiple times* As in, by that point I'd already started flipping. Which is ridiculous

You must have the transaction in your Bank Account though? Just go back to them with that.

As PP said, do you have a bank statement showing the purchase? For faulty items you don’t need the receipt, just some form of proof of purchase. A bank or credit card statement would do.

^^ This.

Aren’t you supposed to flip mattresses every 6 months, not wait until they’re uncomfortable? (Not that that’s relevant to it being faulty, just questioning one of those things that I thought I “knew” but couldn’t tell you why or where I learnt it!)

Presumably you can contact the manufacturer directly.
