Best areas and beach hotels in Kefalonia for family holiday? Never been to Greece...

Hi there

Would love recommendations. Am hoping to go to Kefalonia in July with family. Have no idea what beaches/areas are best and what family friends hotels might be nice?

I stayed near Sovoronata and there were two lovely beaches nearby. It was small & quiet with only a couple of apartment complexes, cant remember if there was a hotel.

It's probably grown a bit since then.

It's bear the airport but there were so few planes (then anyway) that it made no difference.

I can see there are a few hotels around there not, on Google.
